Transparent & Accessible Financial Logistics

Choosing to begin individual therapy or practitioner consultation is a meaningful investment of your time, energy, and resources. I believe that financial and administrative details should be transparent, straightforward, and handled with care so you can focus entirely on your healing or practice reflection

Sliding Scale Options

I believe that financial constraints should not be an absolute barrier to accessing relational, depth-oriented care. To help keep therapy accessible, I hold a limited number of sliding scale spots in my practice for individuals experiencing financial hardship, systemic barriers, or under-employment.

  • Availability: Sliding scale spaces are offered on a trust-based model and are subject to current practice capacity.

  • How to Inquire: If you require a reduced rate, please mention this during your initial 20-minute consultation. If all sliding scale spots are currently full, I am happy to add you to a waitlist or connect you with trusted low-cost community resources.

Extended Health Insurance & Coverage

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #18044) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), my services are recognized and covered by most extended health plans across BC and the Yukon, including:

  • Pacific Blue Cross / Yukon Blue Cross

  • Sun Life

  • Canada Life

  • Manulife

  • Green Shield Canada

  • Desjardins & others

How Direct Reimbursement Works:

Payment is collected at the time of your session, and an official receipt containing my BCACC registration number is generated automatically. You can submit this receipt directly through your insurer's app or online portal for prompt reimbursement.

Band Funding, EAPs & Community Programs

I frequently partner with First Nations Band Offices, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), Indigenous health programs, and community organizations to provide fully funded, culturally safe clinical care.

  • For Individual Clients: If you are accessing funding through your Band Office or an Indigenous community organization, please mention this during our initial consultation so we can coordinate direct billing setup smoothly.

  • For Band Administrators, Directors & HR Coordinators: If you are setting up direct billing, community care agreements, or specialized organizational invoicing for your staff or community members, please reach out directly to establish billing terms.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

  • Payment Methods: Major credit cards and Interac e-Transfers are accepted.

  • Cancellation Policy: Life happens, and schedules shift. I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session so the time can be offered to someone else on the waitlist.

    • Cancellations within 48 to 24 hours: Charged 50% of the session fee.

    • Cancellations under 24 hours or missed appointments: Charged the full session fee.

(Note: Extended health benefits and insurance plans generally do not reimburse late cancellation or missed session fees.)
